Following the tutorial's instructions, calculate the velocity

  1. Calculate the GPE:     GPE=Gmh
  2. Assume that GPE = KE
  3. Calculate the velocity: v = (2gh)1/2

  4. A 98 kg roller coaster is at the top of a 72 m hill. Calculate its velocity if it rolls to the bottom of the hill.
