You will create a wanted poster for an extinct organism because you want to see one (so others will know what to look for in case there is still one around). The Visual Presentations Rubric will be used for grading with additional points added to the information category reflecting the needed poster information:

  1. Common name and scientific name.

    2. Many of the names we use actually refer to a large number of different species! There are thirteen species of stegosaurus and more fossils not yet described! You may end up using a genus or family name.

    2. When did your creature first appear and then go extinct?
    3. Provide a geologic history time line with its location
