Nutrition Fact Project

Directions

You will need to find ten food labels showing the Nutrition Facts for that product. The labels should fit these categories:

Calculations

% of serving size = (mass of macromolecule / mass of one serving size)100

Example: (16g of protein / 31g in one serving size) 100 = 52% protein by mass

Presentation

The labels can be affixed to standard letter size paper. Each label should have written next to it the percentage calculations and the label category that applies to that label.
